What is SR9009 (Stenabolic)?

SR9009 is often referred to, for simplicity's sake, as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator), but it is not actually a SARM. It is an agonist of the REV-ERB receptor, a protein involved in regulating the circadian rhythm.

The REV-ERB receptor is mainly found in adipose tissue, the liver, muscles, and the brain, and plays a key role in controlling the "biological clock," i.e., the set of physiological processes that follow a daily cycle.

SR9009 was initially developed as a potential treatment for sarcopenia, the progressive loss of muscle mass and strength associated with aging.

Studies conducted on animal models have shown that Stenabolic not only helps increase muscle mass and strength, but also affects the circadian rhythm, an aspect that has aroused great interest in the scientific community.

In the same studies, SR9009 was shown to:

• increase physical endurance,

• reduce anxiety and inflammation,

• improve your lipid profile by lowering your cholesterol.

Mice treated with SR9009 were able to run longer and showed improved concentration, suggesting a potential positive effect on cognitive and metabolic functions as well.
