Chemical composition of Mesterolone – Proviron
Proviron is an anabolic and androgenic steroid and is therefore an agonist of androgen receptors. The androgenic properties of Mesterolone are much more pronounced than its anabolic properties, which is why the product is useful for masculinization (including libido) and for increasing sexual desire. Proviron has ZERO estrogenic effects and is extremely mild on the liver and digestive system, to the point of being completely tolerated. Despite its limited anabolic capabilities, the product is controlled and prohibited in competitive sports.
Medical and athletic use of Proviron
Mesterolone has a very useful property in both medicine and sports: although it has no significant anabolic properties, and is therefore not useful for building mass due to an enzyme that metabolizes it, rendering it inactive, it has the ability to release free testosterone, thereby optimizing (and sometimes enhancing) the use of other anabolic active ingredients such as testosterone and its derivatives. This occurs because Proviron binds very easily to SHBG.
Basically, proviron is a derivative of DHT, so it works very well in terms of definition, giving a more cosmetically pleasing and rock-hard appearance. As mentioned, it does not build muscle mass, so unlike Masteron or Primobolan, it has no anti-catabolic effects.
Proviron has excellent effects on libido and sexual desire, and many people take it for this reason alone. In high doses (too high), it can also increase sperm production.

This means that proviron can be used both in mass cycles to enhance the properties of other steroids used and to avoid accumulating too much excess water, but also in definition cycles thanks to its cosmetic and anti-aromatization properties.
