Description of the drug

Anavar (Oxandrolone) is an oral anabolic steroid approved for medical use in the treatment of clinical conditions such as weight loss and muscle mass in patients with HIV, anemia, recovery from severe burns, strengthening bone density, and pediatric use. Due to its favorable safety profile, Oxandrolone is considered one of the safest anabolic steroids available and is also widely used in bodybuilding.

Anavar is not indicated for massive muscle mass gain. Its use is ideal for individuals who already have a good muscle base and a moderate body fat percentage, with the aim of improving muscle definition, increasing strength, and reducing subcutaneous fat during definition cycles.

The side effectsof Oxandrolone are well documented and generally rare. Although it is a 17α-alkylated steroid, its impact on the liver is minimal. Clinical studies show that taking Oxandrolone at 20 mg per day for 12 weeks does not cause significant changes in liver enzymes, making it one of the safest oral options.
