What are the differences between Dianabol and Anadrol (also known as Dbol or Oxymetholone – known as Oxy)? We are talking about the two most popular oral steroids for building mass. Let's get into the details.
Anadrol and Dianabol are undoubtedly the classic oral steroids used to build heavy, real mass. If DBol was Arnold's favorite steroid for growth in the 1970s,oxymetholone (Anadrol, to be precise) was certainly one of the causes of the so-called mass monsters of the 1990s, such as Dorian Yates and the king Ronnie Coleman.
Although many people use them alone, in separate cycles, probably because oral steroids are less intimidating than injectable steroids, we do not recommend (as already mentioned in many other articles) the use of oral steroids alone without at least a base of injectable testosterone. Oral steroids tend to be more harmful than injectable steroids because, in their mechanism of action, they pass through the liver twice, and both Anadrol and DBol are no different.

Are there any differences between Anadrol and DBol, or are they interchangeable?
Anadrol (Oxy) and Dianabol (DBol or Metandrostenolone) are two profoundly different molecules, even though the end results may be comparable.
Anadrol, at equal doses, normally produces slightly better results in terms of mass and strength than DBol; even in terms of aesthetics, Anadrol can give better results because, being a DHT derivative, it does not aromatize as much as Dianabol, giving a less watery and more defined look. However, these slightly better results come at the price of greater toxicity and more side effects. It should be noted, however, that DBol is no joke when it comes to side effects.
Use, benefits, and results obtained with Dianabol and Anadrol
Both products have a fairly short half-life, so they must be taken on an almost daily basis. However, the protocols that recommended taking Anadrol or DBol twice a day are now somewhat outdated: due to the high toxicity of the two products (see next paragraph), it is better to take DBol or Oxy on alternate days or perhaps only on days of more intense training. Anadrol in particular, but also Dianabol, although less evident, creates an incredible increase in strength: this can be beneficial for very intense and important workouts or for training parts of the body that are lagging behind; taking Anadrol or Dbol pre-workout only on days when you need to push harder optimizes the final result and limits side effects.
When used correctly and accompanied by a targeted high-calorie diet, Anadrol and DBol result in significant weight gain: partly due to increased muscle mass, but also partly due to the water retention caused by the two steroids: the difference is that Anadrol tends to push water into the muscle, while Dianabol causes general water retention, which is often not very pleasant visually (which is why DBol is NEVER used in cutting cycles, while Anadrol can be used).

Category: Anabolic steroid derived from DHT
Pharmaceutical form: Tablets for oral use
Package: 50 tablets
Both steroids are oral steroids considered to be highly toxic, so the liver is greatly affected by these two products: it is no coincidence that it is not recommended to use these two steroids for too long or continuously. Although they have different mechanisms, both active ingredients tend to retain water: Anadrol retains water more within the muscle in the form of glycogen due to the fact that it is highly androgenic, while Dianabol retains water throughout the body (including subcutaneously) due to aromatization (similar to testosterone): this leads to sudden weight gain, which raises blood pressure. When taking one of these products, it is advisable to monitor your blood pressure and have regular blood tests, paying particular attention to blood count and liver enzymes.
NEVER USE THESE PRODUCTS TOGETHER AND NEVER USE THEM WITH OTHER HIGHLY TOXIC STEROIDS (e.g., Trenbolone or high doses of Boldenone).
As already mentioned, Anadrol is more powerful than Dianabol and therefore also has more severe side effects, which is why DBol is often preferred by less experienced athletes.
Due to their high toxicity to the liver, these two steroids (especially Oxy) can also cause loss of appetite. If this occurs, discontinue use until appetite returns, as without adequate nutrition, the benefits of these two products are lost.
Conclusions:
To conclude: is Dianabol or Anadrol better? If your goal is solely related to results, Anadrol is definitely superior in every way: more mass generated, better optimization of proteins and carbohydrates (read: more anabolic), much more strength, and less excess subcutaneous water. Unfortunately, however, aesthetic results are not the only thing that matters when it comes to two products that are highly harmful to our metabolism: in this case, DBol may be a better solution with slightly inferior results but also slightly fewer side effects. The choice is yours.
